Building your own website can quickly become one of those never-ending projects that just… hangs over you. You open up Squarespace with good intentions, mess about with a template, realise you have no idea what you’re doing, and then quietly close the tab and never open it again.

I’m sure you’re not bad at tech….you’re just already doing everything else in your business, and building a website isn’t your (dare I say it?) zone of genius, or maybe you just don’t find any joy in this part of the job. That’s totally fine.
That’s where I come in with my Squarespace build service. A 5-day website build for self-employed folks who just want to get it done and get on with their actual work.
We’ll start with a 1-hour kick-off call where I’ll help you:
Set up your Squarespace account (if you haven’t done it already)
Choose your template based on your needs / type of business
Purchase your Squarespace plan
Purchase your domain and connect it (if you haven’t already)
Connect anything like your newsletter form or booking system
Make sure I’ve got everything I need to get cracking
After the call, you can leave me to it. I’ll build your 3-page website over 5 working days, make it feel like you, keep it simple, clean and easy to navigate.
What you’ll need to bring to the table:
Your website copy
Your brand kit (logo, colour palette, fonts, imagery etc)
Access to your Squarespace site (we’ll do this on the call)
A short description of your ideal client
Any testimonials or reviews you’d like included
Privacy Policy + T&Cs (I can point you to a site for this)
Social media links
Call booking links (if you use them)
Newsletter / mailing list embed code (I’ll help with this if you’re unsure)

Preparing Your Copy
Don’t worry — your words don’t have to be perfect (honestly, please don’t aim for perfect). But they do need to help people understand who you are, what you do, and how they can work with you.
If you’re writing your own copy, here’s what you’ll need to prep:
Homepage: A friendly intro to who you are and what you do — keep it warm and welcoming
About or Services page: A deeper look at your story, your values, and what you offer
Contact page: A clear way for people to get in touch (plus any links to book a call, join your mailing list, etc)
Keep it simple. Write how you speak. Imagine talking to a lovely potential client who’s never met you before.

Websites Projects
Over the years, I’ve worked on loads of websites for brilliant, values-led businesses. Most of them have been built in Squarespace.
Some I’ve built from scratch. Some I’ve taken and tidied up. Others have been proper team efforts alongside designers, copywriters or brand consultants. Every one has been a bit different, and that’s meant I’ve had the chance to try lots of things and keep building my skills.
These days, I know Squarespace like the back of my hand. I’ve also learnt how to use a bit of code to tweak things and make your site feel more like you. I’m not a web agency, and I won’t talk to you in tech speak; but if you want a calm, capable pair of hands to help you get your site sorted, I’m your gal.
