White text on a black background that reads 'THE PAUSE NETWORK' with the word 'PAUSE' elevated and separated from the main title.

The Future of Holistic Support for Self-Employed People in Perimenopause. Flourish in a nurturing environment and genuine community.

Perimenopause touches every part of life - your body, your mind, your work, and your relationships.

The PAUSE Network offers practical support and genuine community with people who truly understand.

Why I Created

I’m Heather, and The PAUSE Network is more than a project for me - it’s the work I feel I was always meant to do.

I know what it feels like to be running a business while your body and life are shifting in ways you didn’t plan for. For me, perimenopause has been a portal. One that’s asked me to slow down, to let go of the hustle, and to create space for a new way of working.

All signs lead to this. Astrology, numerology and Human Design are all pointing me in the same direction - I’m here to build spaces that last, not trends. To guide others through thresholds like perimenopause, burnout or business crossroads. To hold a community where you can slow down without falling behind. And to live as proof that imperfection, change and rest are part of success.

That’s exactly what The PAUSE Network is about.

It’s not just coworking. It’s a space where slowing down doesn’t mean falling behind. It’s a space for people in perimenopause who are tired of doing it all alone. A space to share the messy middle, to find connection, to get things done without burning out.

At its heart, it’s about solidarity, compassion and respect.

The PAUSE Network is my calling because it’s the thing I need too.

If you’ve been craving gentleness, accountability that feels human, and a reminder that rest is not the opposite of success… this is for you.

Who it’s for?

This is for you if:

You’re in perimenopause (or suspect you might be) and it’s affecting how you work, show up, and feel in yourself

You run your own business - maybe you’re a coach, creative, therapist, consultant, freelancer or doing something beautifully hard to define

You want honest company, gentle support, practical ideas, and somewhere you can laugh, rant, or share horror stories without judgement

October’s Workshop

Natalie is going to give our energy toolbox an upgrade, taking us through (a Rapid Tapping® session) a quick, daily method to help us ease stress, rewire our mindset, and rise into a high vibe frequency, setting us up for a successful day of co-working.

What’s on offer

  • Monthly in-person gatherings

We'll ease in with a cuppa, a short discussion, then settle into focused 40-minute work blocks with regular breaks, lunch together, and space to share what’s real — frustrations, wins, or stuckness. Leave feeling heard, supported, and a little less alone, with actual work ticked off too.

Three women sitting at a table engaged in conversation in a cozy, well-stocked bar or cafe with bottles on shelves in the background.
  • Weekly online sessions

We’ll start with a quick check-in and a short topic to spark conversation, then move into focused 20-minute work blocks with a short break in between. Bring your stuckness, your to-do list, and your honest self. Leave feeling lighter, supported, and with something actually ticked off.

A person with wavy blonde hair sitting at a desk, holding a cup of coffee or tea, with a laptop and a plate with a muffin on the desk.
  • A growing online hub and memberships

As this community evolves, you’ll get access to membership rates, which will open up a private library of resources, recordings and expert workshops: all designed for our midlife brains, bodies and priorities.

  • Optional WhatsApp group

For daily check-ins, sharing wobbles, celebrating wins, swapping resources or just admitting you’re lying on the sofa with a hot water bottle again.

What to expect

In-person meetups / 5 hours

We’ll start the morning with time to arrive, grab a cuppa and settle in, then move into gentle introductions so everyone feels comfortable. I’ll share a short topic prompt to spark reflection, followed by an open floor discussion where you can share what’s on your mind (or simply listen if that feels better).

From there, we’ll ease into our first 20-minute work block. The structure is simple: short, focused bursts of work with regular breaks to stretch, top up drinks, and reset your energy before diving back in. We’ll keep this rhythm going through the morning so you get things done without pushing past your limits.

Around midday, we’ll pause for lunch - you can explore Guildford, or grab lunch from the menu and have a working lunch

After lunch, we’ll gather in a sharing circle — a check-in to see how you’re doing, what’s bubbling up, and what you’d like to carry into the afternoon. From there, we’ll continue with more 20-minute work blocks (with breaks in between) before closing the day with a gentle reflection round. You’ll leave feeling heard, supported, and lighter, with some real progress made.

Unlimited tea, coffee and water included [lunch not included]

Online Coworking sessions / 2 hours

We’ll kick things off by settling in with a warm welcome and a quick check-in, so you can share where you’re at or simply listen if that’s what feels good. I’ll offer a short prompt or topic to spark gentle conversation — it might be about boundaries, seasons of business, energy levels, or whatever’s most alive for us that day.

Then we’ll drop into our rhythm of focused work. We’ll work in 20-minute blocks, each followed by a short pause to stretch, refill your cup or just breathe. This approach helps us actually get things done without tipping into overwhelm. You’ll have the option to share what you’re working on at the start of each block if you’d like a little accountability, or simply keep it to yourself.

By the end of our two hours together, you’ll have made tangible progress, likely feel a bit lighter, and know you’re not the only one finding business (and life) a bit full-on right now.

It’s your space to get some support alongside a small circle of people who truly get it.

Questions

  • We’d miss you, of course - but you can cancel or reschedule with 72 hours notice.

  • You absolutely can! The weekly coworking sessions will have the same energy, but will obviously be a shorter session. We’ll still fit in some lovely intros, a thought provoking prompt and some actual working, followed by a round up before we all head off.

It goes without saying - I’d love to meet you in person, but if you can’t make it, please do join online. I’l love to see you there!

Oh, and it’s very likely that I’ll be setting up the in-person gatherings in another location, so watch this space.

  • I love that you’re asking! No, I don’t have one in place yet - but reach out and I’ll see what I can do x

  • Not at the moment - we’re starting out with drop-in sessions (PAYG).

From Jan, 2026 I’ll be introducing Memberships where there will be a 3-month commitment. That’s just to help us build a stable, trusting community, so it’s not a revolving door of people popping in and out.

  • This is for anyone in midlife who’s noticing changes — whether you’re in perimenopause, menopause, or not totally sure yet. If you’re feeling the shifts, this space is for you.

  • A cosy, welcoming start to the day with time to arrive, grab a cuppa (unlimited teas & coffees included!), and settle in

Gentle introductions so everyone feels at ease, plus a warm space to connect with other self-employed women navigating life and business in this season

A thought-provoking topic prompt to get us all reflecting, followed by an open floor chat — share your frustrations, your wins, or just listen if that’s what you need

Numerous 20-minute work blocks spread across the day, designed to help you get stuff done without pressure or overwhelm

Little breathers in between to stretch, refill your mug, or just step outside for some fresh air

The opportunity to mix with the group during your lunch break (lunch is not included, but the cosy club have a great menu, or pop into Guildford to grab a sarnie and stretch your legs!).

A supportive mid- afternoon check-in to see what’s bubbling up for you and set intentions for the rest of the day

A gentle closing circle to explore what’s feeling clearer, what might still be stuck, and leave feeling heard, supported and a little lighter

Plenty of encouragement, solidarity and understanding from a small group who really get it.

    Take your place

  • Only if you want to. There’s no forced sharing here. Some days you might want to chat loads, other days you might just listen in and work quietly — both are totally welcome.

  • I would like to offer you a discount if you are low-income, so please contact me to claim one.
