Welcome to
The .PAUSE Network
For perimenopausal business owners who are done pretending they’re ‘fine’, and ready to talk about it, feel supported, and shape work around who they really are now.
The .PAUSE Network is where self-employed women of a certain age come together to feel seen and understood.
Because work doesn’t feel like it used to, and neither do we!

My vision for The .PAUSE Network
I’m in my early 40s, running my own business, and deep in perimenopause.
I’m knackered. My brain feels fuzzy more days than not. My energy’s unpredictable. And the old way of working pushing through, staying “on it,” pretending I’m still 28 - just isn’t cutting it anymore.
And, I know I’m not the only one feeling this way.
Often, networking / coworking spaces with other women tick most of our boxes, but miss that little something that we need - the shared experience. The real, raw, deep understanding and unwavering compassion.
So, I’m building it - a community where we can continue working on our business, alongside others that actually understand what it’s like to be in this stage of life, when everything (our bodies, our focus, even our sense of self) is shifting.
So this is it - The .PAUSE Network.

Who it’s for?
This is for you if:
You’re in perimenopause (or suspect you might be) and it’s affecting how you work, show up, and feel in yourself
You run your own business - maybe you’re a coach, creative, therapist, consultant, freelancer or doing something beautifully hard to define
You want honest company, gentle support, practical ideas, and somewhere you can laugh, rant, or share horror stories without judgement
What’s on offer
Monthly in-person gatherings
We'll ease in with a cuppa, a short discussion, then settle into focused 40-minute work blocks with regular breaks, lunch together, and space to share what’s real — frustrations, wins, or stuckness. Leave feeling heard, supported, and a little less alone, with actual work ticked off too.
Weekly online sessions
We’ll start with a quick check-in and a short topic to spark conversation, then move into focused 20-minute work blocks with a short break in between. Bring your stuckness, your to-do list, and your honest self. Leave feeling lighter, supported, and with something actually ticked off.
A growing online hub and memberships
As this community evolves, you’ll get access to membership rates, which will open up a private library of resources, recordings and expert workshops: all designed for our midlife brains, bodies and priorities.
Optional WhatsApp group
For daily check-ins, sharing wobbles, celebrating wins, swapping resources or just admitting you’re lying on the sofa with a hot water bottle again.
What to expect
-
You're 40+ and perimenopausal, meaning you're fed up of those other "good vibes only" spaces where you're not allowed to let off steam about how bloody hard running a business can be. So, you're looking for a different kind of coworking community now.
This is it.
We’re talking gentle coworking and connection. There’s no pressure to be “on”, just to simply be. I’ll host and ease us all in, setting the pace for our five hours together. Expect some casual peri-chat, some focused work (of course), and an accountability nudge if you’d like it.
We’ll kick off the morning with time to arrive, grab a cuppa and settle in, then have a gentle welcome and introductions so everyone feels at ease. I’ll offer a short topic prompt to get us thinking, followed by an open floor discussion where you can share frustrations, wins or simply listen if that’s what you need.
From there, we’ll move into our first 40-minute focused work block. There’ll be regular short breaks to stretch your legs and top up your tea before diving back in for another 40-minute work session. Around midday we’ll break for lunch together — a chance to chat about business, life, peri stuff, or just enjoy some quiet time.
After lunch, we’ll have a 20-minute catch-up to see how you’re doing, what’s bubbling up, and to set the tone for a supportive afternoon. Then it’s back into our rhythm with two more 40-minute work blocks, each separated by a little breather, before we wrap up with a gentle closing circle. You’ll have space to share what’s feeling clearer, what might still be stuck, and leave feeling heard, supported and a little lighter.
It’s a space to breathe out, be real about where you’re at, and feel a little less alone while still getting things done.
Unlimited tea, coffee and water included.

You're 40+ and perimenopausal, and honestly fed up with all those “good vibes only” spaces that don’t let you be real about how hard running a business can be. You’re craving something different now — a place where you can show up exactly as you are, no mask needed.
This is gentle online coworking and connection designed just for you. There’s no pressure to be “on”, no expectation to be endlessly productive or positive. Just come as you are…wobbly, stuck, fired up, tired? We’ll hold that space together.
We’ll kick things off by settling in with a warm welcome and a quick check-in, so you can share how you’re arriving or simply listen if that’s what feels good. I’ll offer a short prompt or topic to spark gentle conversation — it might be about boundaries, seasons of business, energy levels, or whatever’s most alive for us that day.
Then we’ll drop into our rhythm of focused work. We’ll work in 20-minute blocks, each followed by a short pause to stretch, refill your cup or just breathe. This approach helps us actually get things done without tipping into overwhelm. You’ll have the option to share what you’re working on at the start of each block if you’d like a little accountability, or simply keep it to yourself.
By the end of our two hours together, you’ll have made tangible progress, likely feel a bit lighter, and know you’re not the only one finding business (and life) a bit full-on right now.
It’s your space to get some support alongside a small circle of people who truly get it.

Questions

We’d miss you, of course - but you can cancel or reschedule with 72 hours notice.
-
You absolutely can! The weekly coworking sessions will have the same energy, but will obviously be a shorter session. We’ll still fit in some lovely intros, a thought provoking prompt and some actual working, followed by a round up before we all head off.
It goes without saying - I’d love to meet you in person, but if you can’t make it, please do join online. I’l love to see you there!
Oh, and it’s very likely that I’ll be setting up the in-person gatherings in another location, so watch this space.
-
I love that you’re asking! No, I don’t have one in place yet - but reach out and I’ll see what I can do x
-
Not at the moment - we’re starting out with drop-in sessions (PAYG).
From Jan, 2026 I’ll be introducing Memberships where there will be a 3-month commitment. That’s just to help us build a stable, trusting community, so it’s not a revolving door of people popping in and out. -
This is for anyone in midlife who’s noticing changes — whether you’re in perimenopause, menopause, or not totally sure yet. If you’re feeling the shifts, this space is for you.
-
A cosy, welcoming start to the day with time to arrive, grab a cuppa (unlimited teas & coffees included!), and settle in
Gentle introductions so everyone feels at ease, plus a warm space to connect with other self-employed women navigating life and business in this season
A thought-provoking topic prompt to get us all reflecting, followed by an open floor chat — share your frustrations, your wins, or just listen if that’s what you need
Four focused 40-minute work blocks spread across the day, designed to help you get stuff done without pressure or overwhelm
Little breathers in between to stretch, refill your mug, or just step outside for some fresh air
The opportunity to mix with the group during your lunch break (lunch is not included, but the cosy club have a great menu, or pop into Guildford to grab a sarnie and stretch your legs!).
A supportive mid- afternoon check-in to see what’s bubbling up for you and set intentions for the rest of the day
A gentle closing circle to explore what’s feeling clearer, what might still be stuck, and leave feeling heard, supported and a little lighter
Plenty of encouragement, solidarity and understanding from a small group who really get it.

Only if you want to. There’s no forced sharing here. Some days you might want to chat loads, other days you might just listen in and work quietly — both are totally welcome.

I would like to offer you a discount if you are low-income, so please contact me to claim one.
