WELCOME TO

THE PAUSE NETWORK®

A place to dump your bags and connect with other self-employed women who are in perimenopause or out the otherside.

Perimenopause, Menopause and Postmenopause change you.

Your body, your energy, your focus, your work, your capacity, your relationships - it all shifts, sometimes in ways you never expected.

The PAUSE Network® is here to support you through every stage of that. Right now, we're an online community with twice weekly coworking sessions where you can land, breathe, and get things done without feeling like you’re doing it all alone.

We’re growing this slowly and intentionally. In-person gatherings will begin in Hampshire in 2026, with more UK locations gradually rolling out through 2026 and 2027 as the network expands.

WHY THIS MATTERS TO ME

The PAUSE Network® was born through lived reality, not strategy.

In Summer ‘25 I realised I couldn’t run my business at the speed I used to. Perimenopause was asking me to change.

I needed a space where I could openly talk about the utter sh!t-show that was unfolding in my brain - Who the heck was I? What is going to happen if I can’t do my work anymore? How will I earn a living if my brain has melted? Who am I if I’m not ‘this’ anymore.

I couldn’t find a place to go for self-employed women going through this. Yeah, sure there were loads of events for self-employed people, but nothing that I could find for me. For us.

Running a business at 40+ hits differently. It’s not just the finances, it’s the emotional load. We’ve worked too hard, for too long, to hand our autonomy back to a world that still doesn’t really know how to value us. Self employment isn’t just income. It’s dignity. It’s choice. It’s the quiet truth that we still get to decide [and I don’t know about you - but I’m far to feral at this point to be let back into a ‘workplace’ after 4 years of being out in the wild].

My wish is for The PAUSE Network® to become a kind of sanctuary, where we find medicine in solidarity and togetherness.

I want this to be a place where the emotional weight of running a business in this season of life can be set down, witnessed, and shared.

So, if you’ve been craving a space where you can exhale, move at your own pace, and feel held in the process, you’re welcome to take a seat.

In 2026, I’ll be bringing events offline and into real rooms throughout the UK. These in-person days will be spacious, grounding gatherings where we can connect beyond the screen, share energy face-to-face, and soak up that quiet solidarity that only happens when you’re in a room full of people who get it.

You’re one of us if…

① You’re self employed and finding it increasingly harder to work, focus, organise yourself, or show up the way you used to.

② You’re in perimenopause, you’ve hit menopause, or you’re out the other side in post-menopause. Maybe things feel messy, maybe things feel manageable, or maybe you’re feeling steadier now and want to share your lived wisdom with others who are still moving through the fog.

③ You want to spend time amongst authentic people who are like you and can detect BS a mile off.

④ You’d like steady support, to share practical ideas and potentially collaborate, in a space where you can share openly and be met with understanding.

WHAT GOES ON INSIDE?

  • Weekly online sessions

We start with a quick check-in to gauge everyone’s capacity, allowing each member to share how they’re feeling. This sets the tone for our session and sparks meaningful conversation. Next, we dive into focused 25-minute work blocks, supplemented by short breaks to regroup and share our progress. Bring your stuckness, your to-do list, and your honest self; this is a space for vulnerability and support. We encourage you to share your wins, whether it's a completed email or a project milestone. By the end, you’ll leave feeling lighter, more connected, and with tangible progress you can celebrate. It's not just about getting things done; it’s about working mindfully and intentionally alongside a supportive community.

  • A growing online hub, in-person events and memberships

As this community evolves, you’ll get access to member rates for both online and in-person gatherings, plus a growing private library of resources, recordings and expert workshops — all designed with our midlife brains, bodies and priorities in mind.

I asked members why coming along to coworking sessions is better than working by yourself.

Here’s what SOME HAD TO SAY…

  • We’d miss you, of course - but you can cancel or reschedule with 72 hours notice.

  • I love that you’re asking! No, I don’t have one in place yet - but reach out and I’ll see what I can do x

  • Not at the moment - we’re starting out with drop-in sessions (PAYG).

Memberships will be introduced sometime in 2026 and there will be a 3-month commitment. That’s just to help us build a stable, trusting community, so it’s not a revolving door of people popping in and out.

  • This is for anyone in midlife who’s noticing changes — whether you’re in perimenopause, menopause, or not totally sure yet. If you’re feeling the shifts, this space is for you.

  • Right now, everything happens online — connection, coworking and shared support without needing to leave your home. As the Network grows, we’ll begin bringing this energy offline, starting with Hampshire in 2026 and expanding across the UK from there.

  • Only if you want to. There’s no forced sharing here. Some days you might want to chat loads, other days you might just listen in and work quietly — both are totally welcome.

  • Because working alone when your energy, focus or capacity is shifting can feel like pushing through mud. You sit down with the best intentions… then the brain fog creeps in, the overwhelm kicks up, the to-do list suddenly feels impossible, and before you know it you’re doom-scrolling or reorganising a drawer you don’t even care about.

Inside The PAUSE Network®, you’re not doing it on your own. You’re held in a structure that supports you rather than drains you. You arrive, check in with your capacity, breathe, shake off the morning, and settle into a space where no one expects you to be “on.”

You’ve got a small circle of people who get it — the ups, the dips, the weird energy swings, the moments where you feel like crying, the days where one tiny task feels huge. Just being witnessed in that makes starting so much easier.

    You also get:

    • A calming rhythm of 25-minute work blocks so you don’t spiral into overwhelm
    • Accountability without pressure
    • A reason to show up even when your motivation is low
    • Permission to move at the pace you actually have
    • Real connection instead of feeling isolated at your desk
    • A host (hi, it’s me) holding the container so you can focus without managing the space

Most people say the same thing after their first session:
“I would never have done this much on my own.”

It’s not about getting more done. It’s about feeling less alone while you do it.
