This isn’t a complicated process, but it does require a tiny bit of prep on your side so I’m not guessing.

  • give me access to your Google Drive (or the specific folders you want sorted)

  • show me where the biggest pain points currently are — even if that’s “all of it”

  • be able to talk through your main business categories so I understand how your world works

  • have a rough idea of what needs archiving and what needs to stay in active use

  • be open to renaming things in a way that supports future-you, not past-you

You do not need to organise anything before we call. Don’t tidy. Don’t pre-sort. Don’t try to make it look less messy. I’d rather see it as it really is because that’s where the real, logical filing architecture decisions happen.

FAQs

1. Do I have to tidy anything before the call?
No. Please don’t. I need to see the real state of your Drive so I can understand what’s actually happening in there. Don’t pre-sort or rename anything.

2. Will you delete files?
I won’t delete anything without your permission. If I find obvious duplicates or old files that look redundant, I’ll either archive them or flag them to you first.

3. What if I don’t even know what my filing categories should be?
That’s fine and it’s actually part of the work. I’ll walk you through it on the call and ask the right questions so we can create filing architecture that genuinely reflects your business.

4. Is this safe? Will you see private stuff?
Yes, I will see whatever is in the folders you give me access to. Everything is treated as confidential. If there are folders you don’t want me to open (you simply don’t grant access to those).

5. What if I’ve got things outside of Google Drive too (like Dropbox or my desktop)?
This service is Google Drive specific. If we need to grab a few files to move into Drive so everything is centralised - that can be done - but I won’t be sorting your entire laptop storage. Google Drive only.
